PURPOSE: To provide a punching or printing machine and a related punching or printing method capable of minimizing stress applied to a tape material to be punched or printed, minimizing waste of the tape material during punching or printing and minimizing stopping time of the machine during change of production conditions, and a punching or printing machine manufactured economically and simply. CONSTITUTION: In a punching machine for punching a tape(5), the machine comprising a first punching turret(A) having a pair of facing rotary cylinders(2A) for holding individual punching blade sheets(3A) that mark out shape and structure of a completed punching part(8), the punching machine further comprises at least one of second punching turret(B) that is disposed in a line with the first punching turret(A) and has a pair of facing rotary cylinders(2B) for holding individual punching blade sheets(3B), wherein the tape is alternately punched by the first and second punching turrets, and the tape is supplied to the first and second punching turrets at a constant supply speed. In a method for punching a tape(5), the method comprising a step of supplying the tape to a first punching turret(A) having a pair of facing rotary cylinders(2A) for holding individual punching blade sheets(3A) that mark out shape and structure of a completed punching part(8), the punching method further comprises a step of supplying the tape to at least one of second punching turret(B) that is disposed in a line with the first punching turret(A) and has a pair of facing rotary cylinders(2B) for holding individual punching blade sheets(3B), wherein the tape is alternately punched by the first and second punching turrets, and the tape is supplied to the first and second punching turrets at a constant supply speed.
