摘要
PURPOSE: Provided is a solid-state reference electrode of a gold-amalgam(Au)Hg/insoluble mercury salt capable of molding into a variety of shape and size, and of regenerating via simple polishing process upon contamination or inactivation of a surface of the electrode. CONSTITUTION: The solid-state reference electrode of a gold-amalgam(Au)Hg/insoluble mercury salt is produced by press molding a gold-amalgam(Au)Hg fine particle and an insoluble mercury salt together with a polymer binder. Particularly, a content of the gold is 1.5-90 wt% in the gold-amalgam(Au)Hg fine particle, and an insoluble mercury salt comprises a fine particle of HgO, Hg2Cl2 or Hg2SO4. The polymer binder is a water-insoluble polymer resin selected from the group consisting of a polyvinyl chloride resin, a polystyrene resin, a polymethylmethacrylate resin and a polymethacrylate resin.
