摘要

PURPOSE: A rain-sensing type wiper device of a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to properly control the speed of a wiper by exactly detecting the quantity of rainwater swept by a wiper by utilizing a phenomenon electrically conducted by foreign materials included in rainwater. CONSTITUTION: A rain-sensing type wiper device of a vehicle comprises a rain-sensing part(10) wherein plural switches are installed to a wiper coming in contact with a windshield of the vehicle and the electric conductive number of the switches is converted into a high-signal according to the quantity of raindrops; a count resister(20) counting and outputting the high-signal output from the rain-sensing part; a multiplexer(30) receiving the high-signal output from the count resister and selecting and outputting an output signal required; a de-multiplexer(40) receiving the signal output from the multiplexer and selecting and outputting a specific signal; and a wiper fuzzy control part(50) making the driving speed of the wiper varied according to the quantity of raindrops by the output signal from the de-multiplexer.
