A service method and a system for displaying a local name of a caller under identifier integrating environments are provided to display a name of an area where a caller is currently located, with a caller number to a receiving terminal, thereby easily perceiving the area where the caller is calling. One of mobile terminals(110,150) performs a wireless telephone call through a mobile communication network by originating a call request signal to the mobile communication network, and receives a name of an area where an originating terminal is located, with a telephone number of the originating terminal. A calling area display server(140) transmits a telephone number of the one of the mobile terminals(110,150) to a receiving terminal with the name of the area. A calling area DB(142) stores names of areas corresponding to communication regions as data.
