A method of preventing an over-current trip and an over-voltage trip caused by an impact load of a motor driver is provided to restrain effectively the over-current trip and the over-voltage trip by applying a different deceleration ratio according to an accelerating state, a normal state, and a decelerating state of the motor driver. An output current and a DC voltage are detected from a motor driver(S102). The detected output current and the detected DC voltage are compared with a reference current and a reference DC voltage(S104). An accelerating state, a normal state, and a decelerating state are determined by a compared result(S106). An acceleration/deceleration period is calculated by using the accelerating state, the normal state, and the decelerating state and an acceleration/deceleration operation is performed by using the calculated acceleration/deceleration period as the acceleration/deceleration period(S108-S114). The acceleration/deceleration operation is performed by using the acceleration/deceleration period as the reference acceleration/deceleration period when the detected output current and the detected DC voltage are less than or equal to the reference current and the reference DC voltage(S118).
