PUBLIC OPINION POLL SYSTEM AND METHOD USING MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION TERMINAL CAPABLE OF RECEIVING BROADCASTING SERVICE

A public opinion poll system using a mobile telecommunication terminal capable of receiving a broadcasting service and a method thereof are provided to transmit responded details by forming a return channel, and to arrange personal information or subscriber information in connection with information necessary for statistical processing, thereby collecting, arranging, inputting, and analyzing opinion polls in real time. A broadcasting center server delivers opinion poll details with a broadcasting signal(S10). A broadcasting receiver of a terminal decides whether a subscriber responds to the details(S20). If so, the receiver stores answers for the details, a channel number, and audience information(S30). The terminal connects with a mobile communication network by setting a call, and transmits response information(S40,S50). The network includes subscriber information in the response information, and sends the response information to an opinion poll server(S60). The response information and the subscriber information are associated with broadcast receiving subscriber information of the center server, to store information inputted from all responding subscribers(S70). Data is analyzed through the stored information(S80).
