Antioxidant peptides from Samhaeju(Korean rice wine) and an isolation process thereof are provided, which antioxidant peptides have improved antioxidant activity, so that the antioxidant function of Samhaeju(Korean rice wine) can be identified. The antioxidant peptide from Samhaeju(Korean rice wine) has a amino acid sequence selected from (1) Val-Val-His, (2) Ile-His-His, (3) Leu-Lys-Arg-Pro, (4) Val-Lys-Arg-Pro, and (5) Leu-Val-Pro, or a mixture of two or more amino acid sequences from (1) to (5). The process for isolating the antioxidant peptide from Samhaeju(Korean rice wine) comprises the steps of: fractionating the Samhaeju(Korean rice wine) using HPLC; measuring the antioxidant activity of fractions of Samhaeju(Korean rice wine); and fractionating fractions having higher antioxidant activity and measuring antioxidant activity of the refractionated fractions.
