METHOD OF AUTOMATICALLY CONNECTING BLUETOOTH ACCESS POINT AND BLUETOOTH DEVICES AND BLUETOOTH ACCESS POINT THEREFOR

A method of connecting a Bluetooth access point to a Bluetooth device automatically and a Bluetooth access point for the connecting method are provided to connect the Bluetooth device to the Bluetooth access point automatically before a user's connection request occurs so that a user receives a Bluetooth service without a time delay and understanding by the user to a separate service procedure. A Bluetooth access point comprises a Bluetooth core stack(200,210,220,230,240), a Bluetooth profile layer(650,700), a timer and a polling agent. The Bluetooth core stack manages a wireless connection to another Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth profile layer defines a usage of a Bluetooth service and performs the Bluetooth service in a highest layered application program. The timer generates a periodic signal in a predetermined time interval. The polling agent searches a Bluetooth device to which the Bluetooth profile layer and the Bluetooth core stack are not connected and connects the Bluetooth device to the Bluetooth profile layer and the Bluetooth core stack whenever the periodic signal is received from the timer.
