A method for inputting English characters based on usage probability is provided to virtually select an alphabet with high generation probability according to a key input of a user when the user inputs an alphabet and correct it by the user. When an arbitrary key button is selected, the most priority character element data table is formed. When the inputted character element is to be corrected again, a remaining character element data table is formed. When an arbitrary key button is selected, an arbitrary first character element is inputted and displayed. When the arbitrary key button is selected, the most priority character element corresponding to the key button is inputted and displayed. When the inputted and displayed character element is not a character element, the next priority character element is inputted. When the inputted and displayed character element is not a requested one, the remaining character elements are inputted and displayed.
