The present invention relates to a broadband antenna, and more particularly, in the broadband logarithmic antenna used for wireless communication, the upper and lower radiating elements are formed in a semicircular shape, respectively, and connected to the upper radiating element through an impedance matching unit when fed to the upper radiating element. The present invention relates to a wideband logarithmic period array antenna having an impedance matching part having an impedance matching of a radiation element and having a broadband characteristic.;In general, the logarithmic antenna is an antenna whose impedance and radiation characteristics are repeated logarithmically-period with respect to frequency. Since the logarithmic antenna has a frequency-independent characteristic, it is used as a broadband antenna in the communication field. Such a logarithmic antenna has been steadily developed in a structure that is variously modified from a basic structure in which a large number of linear radiation elements are arranged in the horizontal direction.;According to the present invention, in the logarithmic antenna as described above, the upper and lower radiating elements are formed in a semicircular shape so as to be symmetrical with each other, but the impedances of the radiating elements are matched while maintaining the broadband characteristics by providing an impedance matching portion in the upper radiating element. Provided is a wideband logarithmic array antenna with uniform gain and radiation pattern over a wide frequency band.
