A vaccine formula for treating dog diseases, including at least two vaccine valencies that each include a plasmid containing a canine pathogen valency gene capable of being expressed in vivo in host canine cells, said valency being a canine distemper virus valency and a canine parvovirus valency. Said plasmids include one or more genes per valency, and said genes are selected from the group which consists of HA and F for canine distemper virus and gene VP2 for canine parvovirus.
