PURPOSE: A mode coupling structure is provided to permit resonators to be freely disposed and improve space utilization efficiency, by allowing for a mode coupling even when different types of resonators are coupled with each other in a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: A mode coupling structure comprises a coaxial resonator(5) arranged in a cavity region(60); a dielectric resonator(3) arranged in a cavity region(50) formed in the vicinity of the cavity region(60), in such a manner that the dielectric resonator is coupled to the coaxial resonator in a vertical direction; and a mode coupling unit(7) for varying modes so as to allow for a mode coupling between the coaxial resonator and the dielectric resonator.
