PURPOSE: A method for operating a gasifier of an LNG Regasification Vessel(RV) is provided to uniformly keep the gasification efficiency of LNG by changing the operation of the gasifier according the temperature of seawater introduced into the gasifier. CONSTITUTION: A method for operating a gasifier of an LNG RV comprises the steps of: directly introducing seawater into the gasifier(ST40) and discharging the seawater into the sea(ST60) after gasification finishes(ST50) if the temperature of introduced seawater is over 14.7 degrees(ST10); heating the seawater(ST30), introducing the seawater into the gasifier(ST40), and discharging the seawater into the sea(ST60) after gasification finishes(ST50) if the temperature of the introduced seawater is between 7.2 and 14.7 degrees(ST20); and heating the seawater, introducing the seawater into the gasifier, and reheating the seawater discharged from the gasifier and reintroducing the seawater into the gasifier if the temperature of the introduced seawater is below 7.2 degrees(ST100).
