SUPPORT CONSTRUCTION FOR SLAB OF PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BEAM OF BRIDGE

PURPOSE: A temporary structure for supporting an upper slab of a P.S.C beam bridge is provided to prevent the corrosion of a slab bar, to install and dismantle a temporary structure easily, to prevent the wastes caused by constructing an upper slab and to shorten a period of construction. CONSTITUTION: The construction method of a temporary structure for supporting an upper slab of a P.S.C beam bridge comprises the steps of: placing a P.S.C beam(50) on a pier; installing a support frame(60), a lower slab support(70) and a cantilever lower support frame(110); installing a height adjustable support(80), an upper slab support(90) and a slab floor plate(100) on the lower slab support(70); if many P.S.C beams(50) are installed, placing a cantilever slab support(120) on both sides, then fastening to the P.S.C beams using fastening bolts(56,112); installing a slab side form(140) on the cantilever slab support(120) installed on both sides of the P.S.C beam(50); assembling a slab bar, then placing concrete; and dismantling the lower slab support, the cantilever lower backing frame, the length adjust support, the upper slab support, the slab floor plate, the cantilever slab support and the slab side form which support an upper slab.
