PURPOSE: A steel-frame cage is provided to enhance the strength on an area where the load of a building is concentrated and to shorten a period of construction for a building. CONSTITUTION: The steel-frame cage(30) contains a frame(31) composed of many columns(32) and holders(33), many stiffening bars(35) installed to be projected axially from the frame(31), and a spacer(37) connecting the stiffening bars(35) to the holders(33) to keep an interval between the stiffening bars(35) regularly. The reinforcement method using steel fiber concrete and a steel-frame cage comprises the steps of driving a pile on the ground, arranging steel-frame cages(30) to locate the upper part of the pile drove in the ground in the frame(31) of the steel-frame cage(30), and forming a footing slab by placing concrete on the ground containing the steel-frame cage.
