PURPOSE: A portable radiation survey meter using a GM-tube and PIN diode and a remote radiation transmitting/receiving device and a method are provided to detect precisely radiation from low dose to high dose by searching a polluted region in a wide area by using semiconductor detectors at the same time for detecting each pollution degree of low and high-dose radiation with the GM-tube and PIN diode, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A remote radiation transmitting/receiving method using a GPS and a CDMA is composed of steps for installing a radiation survey meter and a reader in a vehicle and a radiation measuring area(S300); receiving a GPS signal transmitted from a GAS satellite by driving a GPS receiver in turning on the survey meter and measuring the present position of the radiation survey meter corresponding to an identification number of the correspondent radiation survey meter(S320,S330,S340); driving the radiation survey meter at the same time as turning on the reader, detecting radiation of low and high doses from the GM-tube and the PIN diode by real-time controls of a system control unit; and transmitting the detected low and high dose radiation data to an IR(Infrared Ray) receiver by an IR transmitter(S350,S360,S370); checking if position data input through the GPS receiver and data radiation measurement input through the IR transmitter and the IR receiver are input normally by driving a one-chip microcomputer and then driving a CDMA module(S380,S390); converting the low and high dose radiation data and position data of the radiation survey meter in the CDMA module into a wireless signal and sending the converted signal through a base station of a mobile telecom company to a central control center(S400); checking receiving of the radiation low and high dose data and the position data of the GPS receiver in the central control center(S410); and database-memorizing and managing the position data and the radiation data corresponding to the identification number of the radiation survey meter through a server computer of the central control center(S420).
