PURPOSE: A method and a system for issuing a credit card through mobile communication are provided to enable a credit card issuing server to transmit a newly designated key value while storing the new key value in an electronic card by replacing a credit card issuer key, so that a user can immediately receive an issued credit card after applying for the credit card. CONSTITUTION: A credit card issuing server receives predetermined information necessary for issuing a credit card, which is transmitted by a user who has an issued electronic card where a memory element is embedded, as well as information on a receiving terminal(100). The credit card issuing server transmits information on a credit card function recorded on the issued electronic card of the user to the receiving terminal(110). The information on the credit card function is recorded in the user's electronic card, so that the issued electronic card can be used as a credit card. Consequently the user is issued with a credit card(120).
