PURPOSE: A tilting pad bearing for a turbo compressor is provided to increase the stability by realizing a bearing structure in which both journal bearing and thrust bearing are capable of self aligning. CONSTITUTION: A tilting pad bearing for a turbo compressor includes a housing main body(4) formed in a shape of a drum like an hourglass, having a circumferential groove so that oil having pressure flows into the circumference, journal bearing pads(6) combined with the inner circumference of the housing main body, and thrust bearing pads(5) supporting an axial load, wherein the journal bearing pad is composed of a pad body generating pressure for supporting a rotary shaft, a support pin(62), and a pivot(63) supporting load of the pad.
