A METHOD FOR LOWERING MELTING POINT OF STEEL MAKING SLAG

PURPOSE: A method for lowering a melting point of steel making slag is provided which not only lowers the melting point of the slag, but also efficiently disposes waste materials using a neutralized cake of waste acids as a material for lowering the melting point of the steel making slag. CONSTITUTION: The method for lowering a melting point of steel making slag is characterized in that a neutralized cake of waste acids is added to the steel making slag considering an acidity of the final slag, wherein the steel making slag is a stainless steel slag having a final acidity in the range of 2.0 to 2.5, and the neutralized cake of the waste acids is added to the steel making slag in an amount of 20 to 50 wt.% based on a weight of the slag.
