Ink ribbon having color identification mark, method for color-printing using the same, and color identification apparatus

PURPOSE: An ink ribbon having a color identifying mark is provided to easily match a start line of an ink layer region with a line head of a printer without using an encoder. CONSTITUTION: A color ink ribbon(30) includes a ribbon base(31) having a long length. A plurality of ink layer regions are formed at one side of the ribbon base(31). The ink layer regions have dye therein. A color identifying region(40) is formed in front of each ink layer region such that the color identifying region(40) is detected by a sensor. At least three color identifying sensors(42,44,46) are installed in a printer in vertical to a length direction of the color ink ribbon(30). The color identifying region(40) is divided into sub areas corresponding to the three color identifying sensors. Color identifying marks(34,36) are displayed in the sub areas or not so as to identify a color of a next color layer region.
