Class based TCP congestion control method

摘要

PURPOSE: A class-based TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) control method is provided to offer users differentiated services according to characteristics of Internet data and users' request by using a TCP congestion controlling algorithm of a transmission unit. CONSTITUTION: Performance of real time service class network and performance of non-real time service class network are calculated(S210). Relative performance is calculated by using the performance information of the real time service class network and the performance information of the non-real time service class network(S220). A transmission window reducing factor of the real time service class network or that of the non-real time service class network are calculated by using the relative performance information(S230). Congestion of TCP traffic is controlled by adjusting a size of TCP data transmission window according to types of TCP data to be transmitted by using the calculated transmission window reducing factor(S240).
