PURPOSE: Provided is a simple method for manufacturing clay brick having high strength by forming main materials such as clay, fly ash and blast furnace slag without sintering. CONSTITUTION: The clay brick comprises 100pts.wt. of main materials composed of 50-90wt.% of clay passing through No.10 sieve, 5-40wt.% of fly ash and 5-40wt.% of blast furnace slag, and 15-28pts.wt. of hardening promoter which induces pozzolan reaction and hydraulic property of raw materials resulting in no sintering in the manufacture of brick. The hardening promoter is obtained by mixing one compound selected from hydroxides of Na, K or Li and liquid Si-compound in a weight ratio of 1:1 - 3:1, wherein the liquid Si-compound contains colloidal silica, silicon, organopolysiloxane and water glass, forming, drying at 25-200deg.C for 12-48hrs, and thermal treating at 80-450deg.C.
