PURPOSE: A no-bake method and a cold-box method are provided to manufacture a heating sleeve and(or) an insulating sleeve. CONSTITUTION: A melting steel flows to a runner(3) and other parts of a gating system through a gate by injecting into an injecting cup(1) and reaches a mold and core assembly(8). Sleeves(4,6) controls melting metal in the risers(5,7) by inserting into the mold and core assembly and covering the cropping. A sleeve mixture has and a sleeve composition and a chemically responded connecting agent, and softens by contacting effective amount of a softening catalyst. The heating characteristic of the heating sleeve improves by decreasing temperature loss of the melting metal inside the cropping.
