Apparatus and Method for Network management in the All-IP Network of Mobile Telecommunication System

PURPOSE: A device for managing an all-IP network of a mobile communication system and a method therefor are provided to decide state, capability, and position information on a CSCF(Call Session Control Function) for controlling and managing a service, and to assign the CSCF according to the decided information and a position of a mobile terminal, thereby improving network efficiency and service capability. CONSTITUTION: A P-CSCF(181) transmits a registration request message transmitted from a mobile terminal to an I(Interrogating)-CSCF(182), or relays information between the mobile terminal and S(Serving)-CSCFs(183). The I-CSCF(182) transmits the registration request message to a network manager(190), and transmits the message to the S-CSCFs(183) and the P-CSCF(181) according to a response from the network manager(190). The network manager(190) has an HSS(Home Subscriber Server)(191) for receiving a request from the I-CSCF(182) and transmitting the response.
