PURPOSE: Provided are a process for controlling impregnation of asphalt and a low-priced simple apparatus for controlling the impregnation to perform the process in an asphalt mixing plant, which can produce asphalt concrete of high quality. CONSTITUTION: The asphalt is coated on an aggregate by mixing in a mixer and the impregnation is controlled rapidly with the mixing process at a high temperature by air with fixed pressure sprayed downward from the upper part of the inside of the mixer. And the apparatus(10) for controlling the impregnation contains a supply pipe(12) mounted on the upper part of the inside of the mixer(20) and nozzles(14) connected to the supply pipe(12), wherein the air come from the outside is sprayed downward through the nozzles(14) on the asphalt coated on the aggregate.
