AN APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATICALLY LEVEL OF COAL IN COKING CHAMBER OF COKE OVEN

PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically controlling level of coal in a coking chamber of a coke oven is provided to prevent too high or low level by performing levelling operation inside the coking chamber based on the calculated the target level after calculating a target level based on data of moisture and grain sizes. CONSTITUTION: In an automatic coal level controlling apparatus performing coal levelling operation by entering a leveller beam(10) to a coking chamber of a coke oven into which coal is charged so that the leveller beam is reciprocated, the apparatus comprises an analysis part(21) analyzing moisture and grain size data of coal charged into the coking chamber; a control part(23) in which coal level trend lines based on the previous operation data are stored, and which calculates a target level based on moisture and grain size data inputted from the analysis part(21); and a leveller driving unit which is moved along the target level inputted from the analysis part(21) so as to flatten the inner part of coal inside the coking chamber by operating the leveller beam(10), wherein the target level is set to be larger than an actual level calculated by the moisture and grain size data, and the leveller driving unit further comprises an action control part(35), a control motor(38), a screw means(34), and a transducer(39).
