The present invention is the alkylene carbonate to be synthesized on a polymer supported catalyst and alkylene carbonate production process using the same for, and more particularly, ZnX ₂ (wherein, X represents a halogen atom) on a polymer carrier which comprises a pyridine group or a phosphine is under the present novel polymer supported catalysts with the above-described polymer supported catalysts with the support by reacting an alkylene oxide with carbon dioxide to a method for producing an alkylene carbonate.
