Test Apparatus for Use with Location Based Service System Capable of Optimizing Location Based Service by Adjusting Maximum Antenna Range and Control Method Thereof
PURPOSE: A test apparatus is provided, which is used in a system optimizing a location-based service by controlling a maximum antenna range of a base station antenna. CONSTITUTION: According to the test apparatus(110) used in a system optimizing a LBS(Location-Based Service) by controlling a MAR(Maximum Antenna Range) covered by a base station antenna, a key input part(212) acts as a data input unit setting or changing the test apparatus as a C-GPS(Conventional-GPS) operation mode or an A-GPS(Assisted-GPS) operation mode. A GPS antenna(292) receives the first GPS signal and the second GPS signal transmitted from more than one GPS satellites. A C-GPS receiver(260) extracts the first navigation data by receiving the first GPS signal, and generates C-GPS position information using the first navigation data. An A-GPS receiving chip(250) extracts the second navigation data by receiving the second GPS signal, and generates A-GPS data using the second navigation data. And an embedded board(220) sets the test apparatus as a C-GPS operation mode or an A-GPS operation mode according to the mode key value received from the key input part, and controls the C-GPS receiver to generate the C-GPS position information in the C-GPS operation mode, and controls the A-GPS receiving chip to generate the A-GPS data in the A-GPS operation mode.
