FIELD: storage of hazardous materials. ; SUBSTANCE: container has concrete body that forms storage space and incorporates inlet section that forms access hole for introducing hazardous material. In addition container has concrete body of enclosing means disposed in hole to form water-tight packing for storage space. Disposed about access hole in container body is heater designed for heating inlet section. Method for enclosing hazardous material in concrete body includes introduction of hazardous material into storage space. Then storage space is made water-tight by packing it with aid of enclosing-means concrete body introduced through access hole. Upon introduction of hazardous material in storage space access hole is filled with concrete which is allowed to harden; in the process concrete body section of container around access hole is heated. ; EFFECT: enhanced safety of hazardous material storage; reduced cost of container. ; 14 cl, 2 dwg
