FIELD: radio-electric measurements.;SUBSTANCE: method includes separation of centered alternating-sign random process characterizing evaluated signal, on positive and negative components, measurement of expectation value for each of them and determining, how changes the relation of expectations after signal passes four-terminal circuit, which presumably should be source of nonlinear distortions. Device for realization of method has two statistic blocks, two division blocks and subtraction block, output of which is information output of device.
