Measuring device for determining the direction of the maximum of the main lobe of the directivity characteristic narrowcasting sonar antenna. The invention relates to the field of underwater acoustics, and can be used for determining parameters characteristic of the antennas with narrow directivity. The object is to increase the accuracy of determining the angle between the antenna plane and the direction of the maximum of the main lobe of the directivity characteristic (CN). To solve the problems in the known installation comprising a signal generator, a frequency counter, first and second modulators - selectors, power amplifier, the first and second oscilloscopes, test pool, the first and second coordinate device, the first receiver shaper angle marks logger first and second amplifiers, first filter, introduced a second receiver, the third and fourth amplifiers, the second filter, the detector and an integrator, and a third modulator - selector, a comparator and an indicator connected to the corresponding manner. A positive effect is achieved when radiation antenna signal reception by the two receivers located at the same distance from the antenna at a distance therebetween corresponding to the width CNs at a predetermined level, and the simultaneous comparison of the values of the received signals to the comparator. Comparator operates with equal amplitude signals arising at reception of the antenna signals generated in areas CNs disposed symmetrically relative to the axis of the main maximum XH, i.e. when the said axis precisely in the middle between the two receivers.
