Reflector has channels (20) equipped with opposing side walls (23) having a profile that curves in between an associated cusp (21) and an associated trough (24). Side wall is configured so that the major portion of the radiation incident on the side wall is reflected to the collector tube (22) through the opposing side wall or directly to the collector tube. An independent claim is included for solar collector assembly.
