An alignment apparatus has a base (1c) with a support (12c) and a front point (3c) spaced apart from each other supporting an upper jaw model (26c). A horseshoe or disk shaped transfer plate (23c), provided on the base, is located at the designated medium chewing level (30c). A gap (25c) is defined between the transfer plate and the model. The plate installs the false teeth into the model. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjustment of a medium chewing level to an upper jaw model.
