A dosing unit (4) discharges into the fluid guidance path (1). Alternatively or in addition, in the fluid guidance path, there are devices causing mechanical fusion (2) and/or splitting (3). The surface of the separation medium (12) fluid path (1) has wetting properties, whereas that (1) for the test fluid (13) has non-wetting properties. The surface of the fluid path for the mixtures (17) of process and test fluid has non-wetting properties. Fluid flow resistances (6) are located at the fusion device or splitter. They discharge into a common separating chamber (7). The fluid paths are microchannels (11) or tubes. Their cross section is 3 mm 2to 0.3 x 10 -3mm 2. The dosing unit is a valve, controlled electrically, mechanically or thermally. The dosing unit (4) is a microchannel (14) which is periodically filled with a solid- and/or fluid substrate and/or gas. Numbers of channels are integrated, for dosing-in various process fluids. The microchannel flows over sharp edges into the fluid path. A sharp-edged nozzle with a radius of curvature smaller than 50 mu m is used. The equipment, its variants, dimensions and dispositions are further elaborated. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method.
