A block-shaped foldable container (1) of flexible material and of any length has a flexible inner honeycomb structure (3) formed by parallel chambers (4,5) engaging on each other. The chambers are sealed pressure-tight by opposite walls of the container, which define chamber length. The container has a hose device (6) near its base to fill it with and remove, a liquid or gaseous medium, and a safety valve (10) near the top, for pressure limitation and ventilation. The chambers communicate via openings (9). They may be formed by flexible hoses welded to each other along the sides.
