Imaging optical device for object range measuring system used with digital or video camera has sensor angled relative to optical axis for compensating non-linearity resulting from curvature of image plane
The imaging optical device has a single imaging lens (1) in front of a sensor (3) positioned at the image plane (2), the sharpness characteristics of image points along one or more image lines used for calculation of the range of the imaged object. The sensor is angled relative to the optical axis (4) parallel to a tangent (5) to the image plane curvature line.
