A method for the production of polymers with good long-term light, thermo-oxidative, antibacterial, hydrophobic and/or hydrophilic stability, involves adding to the polymer (before processing) an additive in which the active component is coupled with polymer-incompatible migrating elements and polymer-compatible anchor segments.
