Method for worldwide provision of a TV and or video network with a number of servers in which video information can be stored, whereby a user makes a connection to the network operator via his transmission, receiving and control unit, which is then directly coupled to the server of the copyright holder. The corresponding data are then decrypted and transmitted to the end user. The invention also relates to a corresponding arrangement for implementation of the invention.
