Organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display comprises a substrate bearing an array of pixels, each comprising a first electrode layer, an organic light-emitting layer and a second electrode layer. The light-emitting layer comprises a layer of red- or green-emitting polymer or a hole transport or injection layer and a layer of blue-emitting low molecular weight organic material. Organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display comprises a substrate (1) bearing an array of pixels, each comprising a first electrode layer (2), an organic light-emitting layer (12) and a second electrode layer (10). The light-emitting layer comprises a layer of red-emitting polymer (5) and a layer of blue-emitting low molecular weight organic material (8); or a layer of green-emitting polymer (6) and a layer of blue-emitting low molecular weight organic material (8); or a hole transport or injection layer (7) and a layer of blue-emitting low molecular weight organic material (8). An independent claim is also included for producing an OLED display comprising an array of red, green or blue pixels on a substrate applying a first electrode layer onto the pixels, applying a green-emitting polymer onto pixels that are to be green-emitting, applying a red-emitting polymer onto pixels that are to be red-emitting, applying a hole transport or injection layer onto pixels that are to be blue-emitting; applying a blue-emitting low molecular weight organic material onto all pixels, and applying a second electrode layer onto all pixels.
