A steerable support trolley (1) is designed to move by itself. Certain support rollers (3) link as driving rollers (DR) (6,7) with a clearance from each other to an inherent combined drive system (ICDS) (9) for driving and steering the steerable support trolley. The ICDS has two drive motors to reverse independently in a rotating direction for each one of the two DR.
