The device for the neutralizing of odours in passenger carrying vehicles has an evaporation container (1) containing a flat evaporation fabric (11). The evaporation container has an air feed (12) on one side of the fabric, and an air outlet (13) on the other side. The evaporation container is mounted on a closed connecting passage (2) with the bottom open. The evaporation fabric reaches partially into the connecting passage, and an aromatic substance container (3) for a liquid odour neutralizer is installed on the connecting passage and the inner chamber of which forms with the connecting passage and evaporation container a communicating system.
