The two parts (3,4) of the bearing (2) engage in a joint (5) and are connected via fastener elements, e.g. screws (6). The two parts are fabricated from a one-part housing (1) by forced breakage of the housing. The bearing is a roller bearing, especially a deep groove ball bearing. The housing is of cast metal, or especially sintered metal, or plastic, especially duroplastic. It has at least one breaking point (7), formed by a notch and located in the joint plane. The housing is part of a bearing for a cardan shaft.
