Clutch cable has absorption change between 100[deg]C and room temperature at 30 bar corresponding to declutching travel loss not 0.5 mm and comprises composition (heat resistance over 140[deg]C; water absorption under 1.4% at 23[deg]C) containing 100 parts weight polyamide 12 (PA 12) and (wt.% with respect to PA 12) 0.1-50% syndiotactic monovinylaromatic (co)polymer, 0.1-50% syndiotactic polystyrene graft copolymer and 0.1-30% specified inorganic filler(s). Clutch cable has difference of volumetric absorption between 30 bar/100[deg]C and 30 bar/room temperature less than 150 mm3/m length up to total length of 1500 mm, corresponding to a declutching travel loss not 0.5 mm, and comprises a polyamide composition with temperature resistance to ISO 306 (Vicat B50) over 140[deg]C and water absorption to ISO 62 less than 1.4% at 23[deg]C. This contains, at least, (A) 100 parts weight (pw) polyamide 12 with melt index under 100 g/10 minutes at 275[deg]C/5 kg and, in wt.% with respect to (A), (B) 0.1-50% syndiotactic monovinylaromatic homo- or copolymer, (C) 0.1-50% syndiotactic polystyrene graft copolymer with MAH content over 1 and (D) 0.1-30% inorganic filler(s) selected from magnesium hydroxide, calcium carbonate, talc, wollastonite, silica or silicates with ionic layer charges, modified by cation or anion exchange, preferably suspended in oil or grease components.
