Device for adding flavoring (11) during cold aseptic bottling of drinks comprises a first container (2) containing the non-flavored drink (1), a pump (3) connected to the first container and via a flow measuring device (4) to a heating unit (6) for pumping the drink from the first container into the heating unit to sterilize the drink, a sterile tank (8) connected to the heating unit, and a bottling machine (9) connected to the sterile tank. A dosing pump (13) connected to a second container (12) containing the flavoring pumps the flavoring out of the second container and mixes it with the sterilized drink. The flow-measuring device generates a signal depending on the flow rate of non-flavored drink pumped through the pump. This signal is fed to the dosing pump as a control for pumping a corresponding quantity of flavoring, depending on the flow rate of the non-flavored drink, which is then mixed with the sterilized drink in a desired ratio. An independent claim is also included for a process for adding flavoring during cold aseptic bottling of drinks.
