Prefabricated molded blank of an annular or hollow cylindrical component has temperature-dependent layers which are varied and optimized using a bimetal effect to minimize thermal drawing during operation of a reciprocating piston machine in the peripheral direction with an annular component and in the axial and peripheral directions with a hollow cylindrical component with respect to their local layer thicknesses. Preferred Features: The local layer thickness of the layers can be varied and optimized with respect to the peripheral profile.
