Method for operating networked radios in which a main unit receives channel signals over any particular input path and transmits the signal to one or more daughter units. Main and daughter units have transceivers and the daughter units have remote controls for commanding the main unit. The radios can be connected by cable, wireless or infrared links. The invention also relates to corresponding television and radio systems for implementation of the inventive method.
