A redox initiator system (RIS)-hardenable 2-component system of controllable pot-life comprises by weight based on (a) + (b) (a) polymer(s) made by aqueous emulsion polymerization and containing in the particles or in absorbed form 0.01-30 wt.% of an RIS component (0.8-70%); (b) ethylenically- unsaturated monomer(s) (30-99%); (c) an RIS component partnering the RIS component in (a) (0.01-5%); and (d) fillers, pigments or special aids (0- 800%).
