Method and device for measuring writing dynamics using a writing plate in combination with a writing plate support that is mounted so that it can move freely in a sideways direction and is limited by a sprung bar. The assembly is mounted on ball bearings so that during writing the plate is moved sideways and downwards. The plate movement is recorded in a contactless manner and used in a computer program to analyze writing dynamics.
