The convertible vehicle comprises a hardtop which can be opened and which has two adjacent parts. The front roof part (2) has a metal frame (5) which is made of fine sheet metal. A glass panel (4) is glued to the metal frame, and the metal frame has a front edge region (7) which has an edge-reinforcement (6). The glass panel extends on the upper surface (8) of the front edge region of the metal frame, while the lower face (9) fits the front edge region (7) and is sealed against wind plate beam (10) when the hardtop roof is in the use-position.
