摘要

Workpiece machining method in which in a first machining stage a control unit carries out a computer simulation of the machining process, the result of which is stored as a control unit internal workpiece model. In a second machining stage measured tool contact is used to determine the movement envelope of the tool (2) and normal surface vectors are determined for the surface of the workpiece at the contact points. A continuous online correction of the position of the tool is carried out in the direction of the normal vector (4).
